ABOUT THE BOOK:

Sabaru is about Slovakia. Set in the twentieth century, all five novels are actual case histories. Sabaru itself, pronounced Shabra, establishes the contract between female nurses living on farms in south western Poland for hotel work in Europe. Eduin is a search for an Intelligence operative during the cold war. Culprit Acts takes the reader to the 1984 war in Egypt. China confronts the ruthless sail trade through Mexico, China and Tibet for which Intelligence lives are routinely killed; and the last novel Highway shuts the door on a local crime wave. This volume is Koretsky’s fourteenth work of fiction.
